Indian Trails Subdivision Real Estate
Indian Trails Subdivision in Palm Coast, FL
Real estate development in the Indian Trails subdivision of Palm Coast, was conceived as part of the ITT Corporation’s 1969 attempt to establish a Planned Unit Development in coastal Flagler County. Like other sections of Palm Coast in the original plan, Indian Trails consists of a group of streets (all starting with the same letter) that feed into main access roads. All streets in the neighborhood start with the letter “B” and feed into commercial corridors, easing travel and eliminating unnecessary traffic on residential streets.
Belle Terre Parkway, a primary access road that connects the large subdivision to Palm Coast Parkway, has recently been widened and landscaped to include stately live oaks, palm trees, new lighting, and biking trails. Because Flagler County was the site of heavily inflated real estate prices in 2005, real estate prices have fallen to as little as half of their peak selling prices.
Real estate in the Indian Trails subdivision is adjacent to the highly rated Indian Trails Middle School and Belle Terre Elementary, as well as a new sports a new sports complex, library, and several churches. Major shopping chains, restaurants, and the new City Walk shopping center are easily accessible.
The Indian Trails subdivision has a mixture of retirees and families and is located only a few miles from the secluded beaches and lush, green state parks of Flagler County. Today attractive stucco homes with over 2000 squre feet and backyard pools are selling below $200,000. However, some Palm Coast homes in this area are currently listed for less than $100,00 and are sometimes selling below intrinsic value. Most homes in the area have three bedrooms, two baths, and a two-car garage.
